STAVOS Brno a.s. company is one of the most significant building companies in South Moravia region.

The legal predecessor of STAVOS Brno a.s. company was a state enterprise called Industrial buildings Brno – the general contractor for nuclear power station Dukovany. However, Industrial buildings Brno transformed to STAVOS Brno, state enterprise in April 1990. Four years later, during 1994, STAVOS Brno was privatized in a tender by STAVOS Brno Ltd. that was leaded by five members of management.

In 1996 was a change of legal form, STAVOS Brno, Ltd. changed to STAVOS Brno, a.s., which lasts until now.
